3 Great Paths To Movie-Star-White Teeth

If you are one of the many people considering teeth whitening, you’re in good company! Both Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey have had it done, as well as George Clooney. At Overland Park Dentistry, we love being able to create perfect smiles. It’s easy to add the movie star gleam to your smile, and since all patients are different, we offer three different ways to do it.

Whitening Trays

It is possible to buy these over the counter for home use, but we suggest you have them custom fit for your very own teeth. This lessens the risk of ill-fitting trays allowing the bleaching solution to seep out and irritate your gums. You’ll wear them 3-4 hours a day for about 2 weeks. While this works great for some, others find that it doesn’t fit in their daily routine easily.

Whitening Strips

Strips are usually a little easier to use because you can put them on anywhere, anytime, and wear them for a couple of hours at a time. These are usually bought over the counter, however, they aren’t nearly as strong as treatments that can be obtained from a dental provider, like Overland Park Dentistry.

ZOOM Whitening

ZOOM Whitening is your best choice if you’d like to get the whitening procedure over and done with. We can have you in and out of the chair in about an hour, and we’ll even send you home with a touch-up kit for in-between treatments. Many find that the simplicity and convenience of a one-time treatment is worth the higher cost.

Even though going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things to do, my experience with Dr. Kimes have always been good. They are both very kind and considerate and try to treat you as painlessly as possible.
